Laser telescope

Concept – development – simulation – manufacturing

Housing 01 for a laser telescope with high thermal requirements made of special material RSA-443

The optical performance is extrordinary high. Mechnical structure requirements are very high, fullfilling satellite specifications. High precision requirements on centricity, flattnes and paralellity of the lenses interfaces. Optical acis accuracy to the mechanical interface is critical as well as thermal aspects (heat flow and distribution) in an oprerational range of -40 °C to +60 °C.

CEMEC service

Transient termal analysis for the operation period of 3h.

CEMEC provided the concept, complete development of the mechanical parts. The services packag included FEM modelling to ensure the accuracy of the focussing, thermal and structural behavoiour. Feasibility of lens integration, manucfacturing needs, including the design for material orientated manufacturing (RSA 443 = AlSi40).

CEMEC manufacturing
