Lens positioning accuracy better than 2µm over the travel range of 60.0 mm without control circuitry, purely mechanical repeat accuracy better than 1µm, creep speeds of 1µm/sec possible. Hysteresis better than 1µm, orthogonality better than 2µm/20mm. Gimbal head for focal length adjustment through the optical axis.
