Real-time sensor technology for use e.g. in server cabinets
The sensors are designed for field monitoring. Individual sensors report to a node, multiple node points to a central point, central points to the higher-level network.
The sensor has its own intelligence. On the one hand, it evaluates the signal, on the other hand, it communicates with the superordinate Ethernet structure. The vibration values are recorded here, for example, at a frequency of up to 1.6 MHz. If the values are within the limits defined by the user, the sensor reports a normal condition at a time-defined distance from the administrator. If the limits are violated, this violation is immediately sent to the administrator with the recorded value. This avoids unnecessary data traffic when several hundred sensors are active (patented).
Humidity – Temperature
The humidity/temperature sensor works on the same principle. The limit values defined by the user are stored in the sensor itself. If it is used elsewhere, it automatically logs on to the ADMIN, communicates its function (vibration or temperature sensor) and starts data evaluation 2 seconds later.
The sensors can be easily connected in series. Power supply is realized via POE from the nodes over the communication bus, without additional cabling.
Due to the modular design with intelligence, any sensors and active switching elements can be realized.
